New media sparks creativity by providing you with more ways to create content. Things like social media, creating memes, Second Life, Minecraft, and image editing apps like Lightroom and Photoshop are all ways that the new generation can project their thoughts. By providing more ways to share your creations, it sparks creativity in other people to think of new things based on what you created. It's a never ending cycle that will lead to new inventions and ideas that we will see in movies, new technology, music, and other creative content. Isaac Bell writes, "Creators may be inspired by the ideas of a particular audience, the distribution of their works might bypass gatekeepers, and the audience may use these works in their own creations". We see this today when music artists sample music. They take parts of the beat from different songs to create their own beat and make it their own.
