Blog: Advice
I would suggest creating a wiki. This way Baruch can have all their clubs and societies in one place for people to learn about. Students can add on to the wiki. It's a nice way to write about the events that they have held in the past so people who are thinking about joining can see what all the hubbub is about. On the clubs' facebook pages and stuff, there are photos from past events but a real description of what is going on can provide a better understanding of what happens in the club.
I would also suggest a twitter page for Baruch wifi. This way, students can know if the wifi is down or not. Teachers would need to know this too because a lot of them use the internet during their lecture and it would be beneficial to know if they need to change their lesson if the wifi is down.

I think the importance of a college having it's own wiki page cannot be overemphasized. it is a very good for Baruch to have this because it will further help prospective and current student to navigate Baruch and quickly be a part of the clubs situated in the college.
ReplyDeleteA wiki not only provides so much useful infomraiton without the use of extensive googling, but also helps create community something that baruch HISTORICALLY lacks, as evidenced by all the recent protests.
