A useful new media could be a collaborative online study guide for college students. As students take classes, they can contribute to this online study guide and provide insight from different teachers from all the colleges. I think it's a great way to see how other teachers teach a certain subject when the teacher you have does not explain it to you clearly. This new media program/app will be mainly supported by students and not experts/teachers like Chegg or Khan Academy. We can have a study guide for each specific class so that the students participating in the study guide are more knowledgable about the class in relation to the teacher and subject. In the study guide, there can also be a discussion thread for students who have insightful ideas or questions that they want to clarify. Overall, I think this collaborative study guide will be a new media that will benefit the learning experience for students.
